Human beings are the true wealth of any country. The more a country is able to preserve its human wealth, the more that country advances economically, socially, and culturally. Egyptian universities in general, and Helwan University in particular, are national centers of expertise with tremendous scientific and practical potential, which can be efficiently exploited by linking them to the production and service sectors.

Egyptian universities in general, and Helwan University in particular, are national centers of expertise with tremendous scientific and practical potential, which can be efficiently exploited by linking them to the production and service sectors.

The Faculty of Social Work at Helwan University is a leading and important educational institution with a positive impact on the development and progress of Egyptian society. It is also a leading national center of expertise in the field of humanities in general, and in the field of research and providing social consultations to social welfare organizations in particular.

Helwan University's special units represent one of the most important tributaries and main levers for the development and future of the university's own resources. Development in various scientific and research fields has become a necessity for the advancement of universities and for strengthening their role in serving the community and the environment. Hence, the Faculty of Social Work's interest in establishing the Leadership Research and Training Center

This is an important step towards activating the role of the college and university in training and developing human resources in social welfare organizations, providing distinguished community services, meeting the diverse needs of society, and effectively participating in national programs and projects for social and economic development through specialized scientific cadres with the highest levels of knowledge and experience. In light of this, the center contributes to achieving the strategic goals of Helwan University, particularly the third goal, Maximizing the university's productive and service role, thus contributing to the advancement of society and environmental development.

This is due to the important role played by the Leadership Research and Training Center as a nationally accredited center for community service and scientific research,

Towards preparing popular and executive leaders with a high level of leadership skills, within the framework of scientific research and training programs, to meet the requirements of comprehensive development in Egypt during the first decade of the twenty-first century.

Center Mission

Mission of the Center

The Leadership Research and Training Center is a special unit within the Faculty of Social Work, Helwan University. It focuses on training and research within the framework of cooperation between national bodies on leadership skills and conducting research in various social and productive fields."

Objectives and Responsibilities of the Center

Objectives and Responsibilities of the Center:

The Center seeks to assist the university in fulfilling its scientific and practical mission and to prepare popular and executive leaders with a high level of leadership skills within the framework of scientific research. This is achieved by achieving the following objectives:

Preparing and implementing training programs in all areas related to leadership skills, scientific knowledge, and human development, within the areas of accreditation for the Center, for university members and third parties.
Providing technical and scientific consultations to university members and third parties, including individuals, agencies, and ministries, within the Center's field of work.
Providing diverse research services to support the educational and research system, and preparing field research on various social issues.
Collaborating with national, regional, and international bodies, specialized scientific centers, and social institutions within the Center's field of work.
Strengthening cultural and scientific ties with other universities and scientific bodies at the Arab and international levels by holding seminars, conferences, and workshops in the areas of interest to the Center.
