Mission of the Unit

The Digital Transformation Unit at the Faculty aims to develop the informational infrastructure, reinforce the foundations of information systems and technology, increase technological awareness, and contribute to maximizing the benefits for all stakeholders. It also strives to reduce the digital gap within higher education institutions, in line with the higher education development strategy of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Objectives of the Unit

• Enhancing and improving the internal information network of the faculty.
• Upgrading and modernizing the faculty's infrastructure.
• Facilitating communication between faculty members and students through the official university email system.
• Utilizing the official faculty website to communicate with all relevant stakeholders. Supporting the educational process by fostering interaction between students and faculty members.
• Converting a percentage of academic programs into electronic programs.
• Regulating the use of operating systems and software. Protecting devices against viruses.
• Promoting the use of electronic transactions instead of paper-based ones by raising the awareness and efficiency of the faculty staff in using information technology.
• Raising awareness and improving the efficiency of faculty members, students, and staff in the use of IT.
