The Professional Master's Program in Social Investment aims to prepare graduates who are academically and professionally qualified, possessing the knowledge and skills necessary to work effectively in the field of social investment. The program focuses on equipping students with knowledge related to the foundations, methodologies, and tools of scientific research, and developing their ability to apply these to social investment issues and evidence-based decision-making. It also aims to enhance their understanding of professional models and theories related to social investment. Furthermore, the program seeks to deepen their understanding of the challenges associated with designing organizational structures at various levels. The program aims to produce graduates capable of:

Study plan

1. Required Courses (8 courses): Planning Social Investment Programs and Projects (in English), Social Investment and Sustainable Development, Social Investment and Improving Quality of Life, Social Investment and Developing Social Welfare Services, Social Policy and Social Investment, Applied Social Statistics in Social Work Research, Studies and Research on the Social Return of Economic Projects, and the Research Project (Graduation Project).

2. Elective Courses (7 courses): Social Investment and Empowering the Poor, Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Investment, Local and Global Models and Experiences of Social Investment, Civil Society Policy and the Social Investment Industry, Social Investment and Developing the Non-Profit Sector, Digital Technology and Planning Social Investment Programs and Projects, and Social Investment and the Service Economy.

Evaluation system

To obtain a Master's degree, the following conditions must be met:

1. Successful completion of the courses listed in any of the preceding tables.

2. Achieving 60% or higher of the maximum grade in each course and the same percentage of the total possible grades.

3. Students who fail any course are granted one final opportunity to retake the examination.

Admission and Registration

The following conditions must be met for admission to the Professional Master's Program in Social Investment:

1. The applicant must hold a Bachelor's degree from an Egyptian university or its equivalent from a university or scientific institute, whether within Egypt or abroad, recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities.

2. The applicant must be employed by a planning agency, a primary or secondary social welfare institution, or a local, regional, or international civil society organization working in the field of social welfare and development.

3. The applicant must not be enrolled in another academic program within or outside the same college.

4. The applicant must not have been dismissed or had their enrollment cancelled due to academic failure or any other reason from the program they are applying to.

5. The student may not be admitted to the program until they successfully pass the college's personal interviews—oral or written—to assess their readiness for Master's studies.

6. The student submits an application to the Dean of the College, and admission is granted after consultation with the department council, approval by the college council, and endorsement by the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research.
